Inpui Baptist Church Delhi holds Decadal Celebration

Delhi: The Inpui Baptist Church Delhi marked its ten-year milestone on September 16, 2023, with a celebration held at the Parish Hall, Immanuel Baptist Church, Civil Lines, New Delhi under the theme “The Lord Has Led Us this Far” (1 Samuel 7:12). The commemorative event was graced by the presence of Inpui (Kabui) community members residing in the National Capital Region (NCR), as well as esteemed church leaders representing various communities and denominations in Delhi. The event also saw the presence of various Inpui (Kabui) church leaders from Manipur and Nagaland.

Lungsim Khumba, the Executive Secretary of the Inpui Naga Baptist Church Association (INBCA), delivered the Decadal Sermon. The Decadal Choir, consisting of members from the Rwangmei Christian Fellowship Delhi (RCFD), enthralled the audience with the rendition of the Halleluyah Chorus and other church hymnals in the Inpui language.

The event featured significant moments, including the unveiling of a Commemorative Plaque by the Executive Secretary of the INBCA and the launch of the Decadal Souvenir by Rev Dr K Hibou Khumba, Chairman of the Pastor Council, INBCA, and Merachao Inka, President of the Inpui Naga Union (INU). The Decadal Souvenir was edited by Sachoiba Inkah as Editor in Chief and Dichamang Bariamand Joyson Inka taking as Editors. The event ended with a Laazaam session.
