Intensifying agitations: Vice President, ATSUM directs picketing of Govt offices

Senapati: As part of intensifying its agitations to table the ADC Bill and to release the arrested student leaders, Vanlallin Khaute, Vice President of the All Tribal Students Union, Manipur (ATSUM) has directed picketing of government offices in the entire respective districts.

This development comes for intensification of their movement with different mode of agitations as stated to be necessitated to make their demands heard. “In addition to the present mode of agitation, there will be picketing of government offices in the entire respective district while indefinite economic blockade has been underway since 6 am on Friday,” said the Vice President.

ATSUM Vice President also requests all the concern units and organisations to strictly enforce Economic Blockades and Picketing of government offices in their respective areas adding their utmost cooperation and understanding will be appreciated.

Leaving behind all the differences and rifts within the tribal family, Vanlallin Khaute urges all to rise, withstand and fight for rights of the tribal.
