Ukhrul, October 3: The Kangpokpi District Bar Association (KDBA) celebrated its 3rd Foundation Day at the KDBA Hall with a programme that highlighted the significance of the legal profession and the role of the Bar in justice delivery.

The event was attended by Robert Lhungdim, CJM/Civil Judge (Sr. Division) and Secretary, DLSA Senapati, and Lamneichong Haokip, APP, CJM & Government Advocate, Civil Judge (Sr. Division), Senapati, as special guests. Advocate Seikholen Lupho, President of KDBA, presided over the function.

In his address, Robert Lhungdim stressed the importance of humility and hard work in legal practice while underlining the value of the profession. Lamneichong Haokip spoke on ways to strengthen the legal profession and its vital role in society.

Advocate Seikholen Lupho, in his presidential speech, recalled the challenges faced during the establishment of the Bar Association and urged members to cooperate in further strengthening the body. He also emphasized the need to maintain cordial relations between the Bench and the Bar to ensure effective justice delivery both inside and outside the court.
