National Revolutionary Front Manipur claims killing of Class XII student

Imphal: The proscribed National Revolutionary Front Manipur (NRFM) has claimed responsibility behind the killing of the Class XII student, Seigunlal Misao of Saron Veng who was shot dead by two unidentified gunmen (reportedly) in Manipur’s Kangpokpi district on Saturday.

NRFM in a press statement alleged that the deceased victim was involved in selling of narcotic drugs to students for a long time, despite warning the victim to stop his illegal activity, he ignored repeated warnings and continued with his illegal activity.

The militant outfit of Manipur further stated that Seigunlal Misao of Motbung, under Kangpokpi district was awarded the death sentence for selling narcotic drugs to young students.
