Kangpokpi SP Warns Personnel Against Attending Meeting at K. Ponlen

Ukhrul, April 22: The Superintendent of Police for Kangpokpi District, Manipur, on Monday, warned uniformed personnel to refrain from attending a meeting organized by the Kangchup Area Protection and Development Committee at K. Ponlen village on April 30, 2025.

The notice stated that the meeting, called by the “fictitious organisation,” the Kangchup Area Protection and Development Committee (KAPDC), was illegal and warned that any uniformed personnel who attend will be considered to have committed serious service misconduct, leading to strict disciplinary action.

The Kangchup Area Protection and Development Committee (KAPDC) under the aegis of Kuki Inpi, South West Sadar Hills, has called for the meeting of all serving personnel of Civil Police, Manipur Rifles, and Indian Reserve Battalion from all Kuki villages of Kangchup Area at K Ponlen village.
