UKHRUL: The Katho Katamnao Long observed World Cleanup Day on Sunday by conducting a cleanliness drive from Finch Corner to Ramva Village.
The activity, as per KKL, included a follow-up on the tree saplings planted earlier on 5 June 2026, World Environment Day.
The student union said the activity was organised to demonstrate their concern about climate change and the growing problem of pollution, while also raising awareness among citizens and encouraging everyone to join hands in addressing these challenges.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Forest Department, Ukhrul, for sponsoring the cleanliness drive and supporting this environmental initiative. “Together, let us continue to work towards a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment,” said KKL.
