KSO Ccpur forbids activities of sprawling Gangs in the dist, issues stern action against Gangs/Groups

The Kuki Students’ Organization (KSO), Churachandpur district in a press release Monday took strong cognisance on the steady growth in size and number of gangs operating in the district, involved in criminal and violence activity. The release informed all the gangs operational in the district to totally shun all organized crime, unethical delinquency and end all existing gangs operating in the district.

Any gang (s) neglecting or disobeying our appeal will be deal with all seriousness, it warned.

KSO Churachandpur in an effort to end the menace of delinquency by certain gangs/groups since the past few days, identified 24 gangs/groups each numbering 10-30 members belong to age group 13-20. The names of them listed by the Information & Public Relations, KSO are:

KSO in the release informed that students who feel vulnerable at school join the groups believing the gang provides protection and general acceptance by peers and the perks that comes with it — music, alcohol or drugs use, parties, precocious sexual activities and respect etc.

It pointed out that such unwanted social evils and delinquency is taken seriously and the organization resolves to take their own course of action against such gangs indulging in unethical behavior to prevent the District from turning into a hub for all immoral and unethical activities, adding that the organisation is fully committed to take highest ethical standards and follow a Zero tolerance policy to breaches of these standards, KSO said.

KSO Churachandpur sough the support and full cooperation of Village Youth Clubs and public towards this end and encouraged the general masses to report any suspected, fraudulent or unethical behaviors by any gang(s) or group(s) to report to the office of KSO Churachandpur or contact the phone number given below.
