KSO-GHQ Elects Executives for 2025-28

Ukhrul, Mar 15: The Kuki Students’ Organisation, General Headquarters (KSO-GHQ), has elected Doukhomang Haokip and Jangkhosei Touthang President and General Secretary of the body respectively for the term 2025-2028. They were elected in the general election of the body held today at the KIC Complex in Tuibong, Churachandpur with the participation of KSO Districts/Branches and student organizations from cognate tribes.

The individuals were elected per the Election Code of Conduct under Article 104 of the KSO Constitution. Besides, Boilhing Lhungdim and Seiminthang Haokip were elected Finance Secretary and Information & Publicity Secretary, respectively.

The KSO-GHQ stated that the expansion of the executive body to fill the various executive positions will be done within 15 days from the date of the election. This process will be carried out by the elected executive members led by the President, in consultation with the KSO Standing Committee.
