KSO-Ukhrul in a press release argued, “At a time when Manipur is grappling with an ethnic crisis and widespread turmoil, the leadership of Kengoo Zuringla has been instrumental in ensuring the safety and security of the people of Ukhrul. Under her administration, the district has navigated these challenging times with resilience and stability.”

Urging the concerned authorities to revoke the transfer order and allow Kengoo Zuringla to continue serving the district, given the “crucial period”, KSO-Ukhrul, General Secretary Haoneo Baite, pointed out that this was “in the interest of the local community.”
