UKHRUL: The Kuki Film Development Association (KUFIDA) has expressed condolences over the death of Mrs. Neijahat Haokip, mother of Kuki film actress Lhingpichong Haokip.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the association said Mrs. Haokip, 42, a resident of Haijol Village on IT Road in Kangpokpi district, died at around 10 pm on Tuesday after a prolonged illness.
KUFIDA said it shares the grief of Lhingpichong Haokip and her family during the difficult time.

“We stand in solidarity with Lhingpichong Haokip, her family and loved ones in this hour of grief,” the association said.
The KUFIDA also prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family and for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
