Lhukhosei Zou distributes relief materials to needy in Moreh

Covid-19 pandemic and its subsequent lockdown has brought Manipur to a standstill. Many people have been affected in various ways, some more than others.

As the pandemic continue to plague the poor and vulnerable in Moreh town, former chairman of ADC Chandel, Lhukhosei Zou, has distributed Covid relief materials to widows, old aged and needy people from different communities in 16-Moreh B, DCC.

The former chairman distribute 10 kg of rice and Rs. 500 each to 166 households belonging to widows, daily wage workers, vegetable sellers and economically distressed communities of 16-Moreh B, DCC.

The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to Lhukhosei Zou for extending help during this hard time.

Residents in Moreh town, particularly daily wage earner, widows, old aged, had been facing immense harship since last year due to Covid pandemic. The impact had been severe as government sealed Indo-Myanmar border since the first wave of Covid pandemic.
