CHANDEL: Little Ones Preparatory Academy on Wednesday organised a community clean-up drive as part of the first phase of its Green Week celebrations, reaffirming its commitment to environmental conservation, civic responsibility, and community engagement.
The one-day initiative covered the stretch from the school campus to the Lambung Bailey Bridge, with around 200 students, along with teaching and non-teaching staff, actively participating in the programme. Equipped with cleaning materials and guided by their teachers, the students collected waste and cleaned public spaces along the route.
Apart from improving the local environment, the activity served as an educational exercise, providing students with practical exposure to environmental stewardship and the importance of sustainable living. The school said the programme aimed to instil a sense of social responsibility and community service among young learners.
