Imphal West, September 16: The Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi, Manipur (LNKR), in collaboration with the Liangmai Film Forum, successfully organized its 2nd Blood Donation-cum-Free Medical Camp on Monday at LNBA-M Sub-Centre Church, Namdilong, Kanglatongbi.
Held under the theme “Unite to Save Lives: Stronger Community & Brighter Future,” the camp was conducted in association with Shija Blood Centre & Transfusion Services and supported by Helping Hands for People, Manipur. The event saw around 30 units of blood donated while over 400 people availed free medical consultations.

Addressing the gathering, LNKR President Mathiuchunbou Rimai thanked all voluntary donors, calling them “real-life heroes” whose contributions would save lives. He encouraged people to adopt blood donation as a yearly responsibility.
Specialist doctors in Dermatology, Gynaecology, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Medicine, and Surgery provided consultations to the community during the camp.
Chief Guest Asenliu Newmai underlined the importance of medical outreach, noting that the lack of regular camps often results in preventable emergencies. She urged people to seek timely hospital care instead of relying on unverified local treatments.

Guests of Honour included Khundrakpam Johnson, Range Officer, Tamei, Tamenglong Forest Division, and Thailik Panmei, Entrepreneur.
The Union extended appreciation to its health partners, doctors, and volunteers, reaffirming its commitment to continue such humanitarian initiatives for community welfare.
