Secretary of the Agartala Press Club Ramakant Dey expressed the disappointment felt by local journalists stating, “It is disheartening that local media professionals, who have a long history of covering important events in the state, were not given the chance to report on the NEC session in their own state. We believe this decision does not reflect the contribution of local journalists.”

The Agartala Press Club emphasized that the exclusion was particularly disappointing given the role local journalists play in keeping the public informed about key developments.
