SENAPATI, NOVEMBER 19: The Trekking to Esii cum Treasure Hunt emerged as one of the standout highlights of the Manipur Cherry Blossom-cum-Flower Festival as adventurers scaled the majestic Esii Mountain, the highest peak in Manipur, turning the event into a memorable celebration of nature, culture, and community spirit.
Organised by the Manipur Cherry Blossom cum Flower Festival Committee, the trek began early from the base camp, leading participants through the mist-lined forests and rugged mountain trails of Esii. The scenic route, dotted with blooming cherry blossoms, offered both challenge and beauty, adding to the excitement of the treasure hunt woven into the journey.

- 2nd Prize: Kashiprii Athuo (Tadubi)
- 3rd Prize: Salew Manio (Kalinamai)

Adding a strong environmental message to the day, the Committee presented the Green Ambassador Award to two groups who took the initiative to collect waste during their descent, helping preserve the pristine beauty of Esii Mountain.
Awardees included Ashuli Pfokreo, Eloziio Charakho, Hriini Kape, Sani Elow, Athikho Bunio (Chowainu Village) and Lohrii Chiithuyio, Kholi Azhiipeo, Sani Pfokrehrii, Daihrii Ashuli and Hekheni Mariikho (Song Song Village).
The organisers expressed heartfelt appreciation to all who made the trek and hunt special, stating that the blend of adventure, responsibility, and cherry blossom beauty truly captured the spirit of the Festival.
