Manipur: Five Chin Kuki Militants Killed

Ukhrul, July 22: Five militants suspected to be cadres of the Chin Kuki Mizo Army (CKMA) were killed in a gunfight that broke out on Monday night at Daiveijang village, under Nungba Police Station, Noney district in Manipur.

The slain cadres have been identified as Alex, Seiboi, Pongba, Rambo and Ringo.

The gunfight, suspected to be an internal dispute, happened in a remote area, about 54 KM away from Nungba Headquarters, according to local sources. 

Meanwhile, a team of Nungba Police led by OC is on the way to investigate the incident.
