UT Bureau | Ukhrul, Aug 20: In the world’s largest sanitation survey, the fifth edition of the annual cleanliness survey of the country, Urban Local Bodies from Nagaland, Manipur, Sikkim, Tripura and Assam have scored big in Swachh Survekshan 2020, Awards announced by Union Minister of State (I/C), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri on August 20.
Indore is India’s cleanest city in Swachh Survekshan 2020. This is the fourth time in a row Indore as bagged the award.

In the overall top-5 North-East Zone rankings, Jiribam and Wangjing Lamding from Manipur were ranked 1st and 2nd respectively, Singtam of Sikkim as the 3rd, Mokokchung in Nagaland as the 4th, and Mizoram’s Kolasib town as the 5th respectively.
