Imphal, June 5: Manipur’s Wushu athletes have made the state proud by bagging a total of 16 medals so far at the ongoing International Wushu Tournament MOSCOW WUSHU STARS 2025, being held in Moscow, Russia. Representing India, the players have clinched 6 Gold, 6 Silver, and 4 Bronze medals, showcasing their prowess on the international stage.

Gold Medalists are:

  1. Linthoingambi Laitonjam – Gold in Junior Taijiquan and Junior Tajijian events
  2. Hanjabam Langlentombi – Gold in Senior Nanquan
  3. Jollyson Thangjam – Gold in Junior Nanquan
  4. Christina Kangjam – Gold in Senior Tajijian
  5. Wangthoi Thangjam – Gold in Junior Gunshu

Silver Medalists are:

  1. Hanjabam Karnajit – Silver in Senior Taijijian
  2. Wangthoi Thangjam – Silver in Junior Changquan and Junior Daoshu
  3. Sanaroz Thongram – Silver in 12–14 years Tajijian
  4. Mayanglambam Suraj – Silver in Senior Gunshu

Bronze Medalists are:

  1. Mayanglambam Suraj – Bronze in Senior Daoshu
  2. Sanaroz Thongram – Bronze in Sub-Junior Taijiquan
  3. Ngamba Aheibam – Bronze in Senior Tajijian
  4. Hanjabam Langlentombi – Bronze in Senior Nanquan

The Championship is scheduled to conclude on June 7.
