Manipur Police and SBI Ink MoU to Launch Enhanced Financial Package for Police Personnel

Ukhrul: The Manipur Police and State Bank of India (SBI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 24, to introduce the SBI Police Salary Package, aimed at offering enhanced financial services and benefits to police personnel across the state. The signing ceremony was held at the office of the Director General of Police, Manipur, according to Manipur Police on X.

The MoU, Manipur Police, said was formalized by Konsam Jayanta, Inspector General of Police (Administration), representing the Manipur Police, and Khumukcham Okendra Singh, Regional Manager of SBI’s Regional Business Office in Imphal. The event was attended by Rajiv Singh, Director General of Police, Manipur, alongside senior officials from both the Manipur Police and SBI.

“This agreement aims to offer a range of benefits to the police personnel, including special salary packages, various insurance benefits (including personal accident death insurance upto ₹1 crore and additional coverage upto ₹10 lakhs among other benefits), outstanding benefits to family members of police family members, other benefits and more, further strengthening the relationship between the police department and SBI,” said Manipur Police on Friday.
