Imphal: Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh on Thursday chaired a review meeting for the preparation and arrangements to host the 59th edition of Femina Miss India grande finale in Imphal on April 15. This is the first time where such event will be held in the state.

Hosted by Manipur Tourism Department and co-present by VLCC & Trends, the grand finale of the country’s prestigious beauty pageant for women will be held at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium.
Taking to his Twitter handle, chief minister Biren Singh said “Reviewed the arrangements for the 59th Femina Miss India Grand Finale which is going to be held in Imphal.”

The event will be another opportunity to showcase the warm hospitality of the people of Manipur to visitors and showcase our potential to host more such national events in the state, added the chief minister.
According to sources, all the 30 contestants from the states will be arriving at Imphal International Airport on Saturday to get ready for the grand finale.

The Femina Miss India 2023 pageant grand finale will be co-host by Bollywood actress and youth icon Bhumi Padnekar.
In November 21, 2022 the Manipur government and Times Group in a ceremony had announced that the 59th Femina Miss India grand finale will be hosted in the Northeastern state of Manipur, signing a Memorandum of Understanding.
The signing of MoU event were also attended by chief minister N Biren Singh and Times Group MD Vineet Jain amongst other.
