Imphal: The Assam Government has officially designated Manipuri as an Associate Official Language in four districts of the state. This landmark decision, announced on Thursday, follows the passage of the Assam Official Language (Amendment) Bill, 2024, and marks a significant recognition for the Manipuri-speaking community in Assam.
