Ukhrul: Songashim Rungsung, winner of Rubaru Mr. India 2020-21 will represent India at the Mister Friendship International 2022, one of the biggest male pageant competition which will be held at Khon Kaen, Thailand slated on December 8-19, 2022.

The social media influencer, fitness consultant, pageant trainer, modeller was honoured with the ‘Influencer of the Year’ award at Goa’s biggest and most prestigious special awards night organised by AB Production Goa group of pageants in Arpora in May 2022.

Tangkhul Mayar Ngala Long (TMNL- Tangkhul Youth Council) on Saturday organised a blessing programme for Songashim Rungsung at the Conference Hall of Zimik Plaza, Viewland, Ukhrul.
President of TMNL, Somatai Machinao stated “Songashim Rungsung’s crowning of a Rubaru Mr. India contest in 2020 has been an inspiration for many youth. His success at international level will definitely be the pride of the nation and an inspiration for the many upcoming youth.”

Somatai Machinao added that “most importantly financial help by well wishers will be warmly welcome and will ease the burden of his travel expenses and fees for entering the competition since there is no sponsorship or help from the state Government or individulals.”
TMNL has appealed for support through financial contribution so that the Manipur lad can participate and represent India in the Mister Friendship International 2022.
Songashim Rungsung inspite of financial problems, is working hard and preparing his best for the upcoming competition.
