Please meet Thotchuiwon Jajo, the lady Master Chef from Manipur’s Ukhrul District, Shingkap Village and the proprietor of Asian Flavours, one of the most reputed food catering services in national capital.
Chef Jajo has three national awards under her belt:
1) Lady Chef of the Year 2020 (Women Power) at Le Meridien Delhi.
2) Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Best Chef of the Year Award 2019 (Chennai).
3) North Indian Best Chef in December 2023.
Lady Chef Jajo graduated in Hotel Management from Presidency College, Bangalore and worked for more than 10 years in five star hotel establishments, all across the country, before opening up her own business.
When she started as a Chef in 2008, very few women were in the sector then, but now, she has her own food catering service named, Asian Flavours.
Her clients include many of the top corporate houses in Delhi NCR and the various Embassies of Delhi (Japanese, Korean, China, UK, Russa etc). She says that most of her products are imported from Bangkok, Singapore and Malaysia.

In the peak season, her catering service employs as many as 50 to 60 chefs, many of whom are also from the Northeast, including several Nepali men, who are, according to her, extremely hard working and dedicated.
Master Chef Jajo says that demands far exceeds the ability to cater to her clients. Apart from the high profile weddings of Indians from Udaipur to Jodhpur, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi, she has several non-Indian clients in the national capital since her specialty ranges from international, continental cuisine (Mexican) to Asian cuisine (Korean, Japanese & Chinese) and national cuisine (North Indian).
Having started her Career from a humble beginning wherein, she had to even go for two consecutive days without sleep then, to now having her own food catering service- Asian Flavours, which is one of the most reputed in the capital.
