UT News Service | Imphal, Aug 25: Manipur minister Nemcha Kipgen tested Covid-19 positive on Monday afternoon, sources said. The test result for the social welfare minister, 57 year old, came from Babina Diagnostics, Imphal.
The lone woman minister took to Facebook and said, “After getting symptoms of Coronavirus, I got myself tested and the report came back positive.
I sincerely request all of you who have come in contact with me in the past few days to kindly isolate yourselves and get yourselves tested at the earliest”.
The minister is currently under home isolation at her official quarters in Imphal’s Lamphel.Â
