Miracle Worchum: Ukhrul gets its first kids library

In an increasingly digital world, where today’s kids are glued to smartphones and TVs and where reading books have been neglected at large, Ukhrul Town has got its first exclusive library for kids and teenagers. With an objective to encourage and connect young hearts to read more and cultivate the reading habit, Payngyit Media Ministry has opened Ukhrul’s first library for kids called M!RACLE WORCHUM.

Located in the main town, the library has a vast collection of Bible stories, picture books, fiction & nonfictional books, and multimedia materials. The main objective of M!RACLE WORCHUM is to develop children’s reading, research, and creativity skills through different programs and activities.

Apart from the reading area, M!RACLE WORCHUM also offers activities on a weekly basis, including storytelling, Visuals, puppet shows, arts, and crafts by their trained staff. Children’s experts are also often invited to read and interact with the children.

Books available for: Toddlers to Teenagers.
Kinds of books: Bible & stories, Devotional & belief, Encyclopedias & Dictionaries, Computer & science, family & relationship, Arts & Music, Biographies & Histories, Literature & languages, Multimedia, Poetry & Rhymes, Jokes & Drama, Plant and animals, Fantasy fiction, Letters & Numbers, Human & Sports.

Library timing: 10:00am to 4:00pm
Location: TTA building, Hamleikhong, Ukhrul District HQ
