Kohima: The Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN) will be organising its 29th edition of Miss Nagaland 2021 Pageant virtually for the first time in the later month of this year. The grand finale will be telecasted live with all the contestants in one venue without an audience. This was informed by the president of BASN, Mele Pucho today at Ura Hotel, Kohima.

Briefing media persons, BASN invites bonafide citizens, unmarried Naga women between the age of 18-25 years with a minimum height of 5’4″ and above. 

Those who want to be part of Miss Nagaland Pageant can send profile photographs of one close-up and one full-length and an introduction video (not more than 1 minute) to basnkma@gmail.com and also to the following Whatsapp contact: +91 8131937035, 8414800800 and 9774929679 respectively.

Registrations to the event are already open since September 11 and will continue till October 7. Further, the online audition to the event will be held on October 11 & 12, president of BASN informed.

The prize money for the event includes; Winner of Miss Nagaland amounting Rs.1 lakh along with various gift hampers. Winner will  also become the State Icon and will gain direct entry into the 1st Edition of Miss North East 2022, which will be held in Nagaland.

BASN also informed that all the auditions will be held online, and the grand finale will be held live with all the contestants in one venue without an audience. The recording of the event will be streamed through the official social handles of the organisation.

Meanwhile, Northeast Beauty Pageant Organisation will be holding its first edition of Miss Northeast 2022 in Nagaland, said Mele Pucho, who is also the president of Northeast Beauty Pageant Organisation. While the date for this event is yet to be set, he added.
