Tonmingam Chiphang 23-year-old, son of Rumchuithing Chipang who went missing yesterday evening at Litan river has been found dead.
Litan police confirmed Tonmingam Chiphang was fished out today morning at 8:35 am, not far from the previous spot where Khanthing P Shimray, 26-year-old drowned in Litan river on Friday.
Both the victims are from Tangrei locality of Ukhrul.

The incident took place on Friday around 4:45 pm when four youths from Ukhrul who were travelling from Imphal-Ukhrul stopped over in Litan for a swim.
Police and Litan locals including Tangkhul community, Mongkot Chepu Youth Club and Kuki Students’ Organization (KSO) had set out for search operation late Friday evening.
