According to a statement from the Raj Bhavan, the Governor informed in detail about the series of violent incidents taken place both in the hill and the valley districts which led to the loss of lives and properties.

The Governor informed about the various measures taken up by the Centre as well as state government to normalise the situation and bring back peace and tranquillity in the crisis hit state. She informed the Prime Minister about the issues, suggestions received from civil society organisations, political representatives, student organisations etc. from Meitei, Kuki and Naga communities in the State as well in Delhi, the statement also said.

Furthermore, the Governor explained about the condition and grievances of violence affected people staying in relief camps both in the hills and the valley districts and steps taken up by the government for their early resettlement and rehabilitation.
