Chandel: The Moyon Naga Baptist Association (MYNBA) issued a release to appreciate the Moyon Naga Council (Bujuur Aanchung Puh) BAP and the whole Moyon community for the acknowledgement and
felicitation to the five Moyon prominent leaders who were conferred Posthumous Honorary Doctor of Divinity (D.D) by the International Institute of Biblical Studies (lBS) affiliated under International Association for Biblical Education (IABE) during the 85th BAP Foundation Day cum Felicitation on 8th February, 2022 at Kapaam village.

The five prominent leaders are, Nungchim Thomchung Moyon, Ngoruw Angphar Moyon, Roel Thoma Moyon, Serbum Ngamdil Moyon and Chinir Mono (Mochiih) Moyon. These five persons were the first educationists, Christian pioneers, missionaries and social reformers and transformers among the Moyon community and other communities. They contributed a great deal in the spreading of the gospel and education since 1897.

The Posthumous Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree and Certificate was handed over to the families by Rev. Dr Prof. Koningthung Ngoruw Moyon, Executive Secretary, MYNBA on the celebration cum felicitation day to the families. Therefore, the Moyon (Bujuur) as a whole is going to celebrate Centennial Jubilee Celebration from 7th to 9th October 2022 at Kapaam Baptist Church because of these persons and many other leaders.

The MYNBA also thanked the International Institute for Biblical Studies (|BS) for the honour and conferring the Moyon leaders such an auspicious degree and honour.
