MP Alfred Kanngam S Arthur Conducts DISHA Review Meeting for Kangpokpi District

Ukhrul, Mar 6: Lok Sabha MP for Outer Manipur and Chairperson of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) Alfred Kanngam S Arthur conducted a review meeting for Kangpokpi District at the LNC Oldailim Hotel today. The review meeting focused on development and coordination efforts in the district.

 During the review meeting, the concerned departments presented their achievement and ongoing activities as part of the Disha scheme and program. The presentation included various departments such as Public Work Department, PHED, Department of Horticulture, District Industries Centre, Veterinary, Department of Information & Technology, District Supply Officer, Ministry of Women & Child Development (ICDS), District Health Society, Departments of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare, etc. The slide presentation showcased the progress and impact of their initiatives in improving the lives of the people in the district and availing the benefit of the scheme to the masses.

The Chairperson emphasized the importance of bifurcating the data in block-wise allocation to get a better understanding of the resource allocation and utilization. The Chairman also urged the officials to expedite any pending cases at the earliest possible to ensure timely and efficient decision-making.

Today’s meeting was attended by MP Lok Sabha Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka, Mahesh Chaudhari IAS DC Kangpokpi (Members Secretary); Manoj Prabhakar IPS SP Kangpokpi; N. Shokhonam Baite ADM MCS SDO Kangpokpi; Hemant Kumar IAS SDO T-Waichong, Doujapao Haokip MCS CEO SH-ADC; Lamminlal Simte MCS AC to DC SDO Champhai; District level officials and senior officials of the district among others.
