Lok Sabha MP Alfred Kangam S Arthur Chairs DISHA Meeting in Churachandpur

Ukhrul, Mar 5: The District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting for Churachandpur and Pherzawl district was held today at Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat, Tuibong, Churachandpur.

MP II-Outer Manipur (ST) Lok Sabha Alfred Kanngam S Arthur chaired the meeting for the district and reviewed the achievements of the schemes and Programmes for the two districts.

Today’s meeting was held in the presence of Deputy Commissioner, Churachandpur, Dharun Kumar S, and Deputy Commissioner, Pherzawl, Mannuamching, who are also the member secretaries of the District Development Coordination & Monitoring Committee (DISHA).

During the review meeting the concerned district level officers from both the districts made presentation of the activities and achievements of their departments under various schemes and programmes which included Medical Department, Agriculture, Education, Public Works Department(PWD), Public Health Engineering Department(PHED), District Rural Development Agency(DRDA), Zonal Educational Officer(ZEO), Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act(MGNREGS), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana –(Gramin), National Social Assistance Programme(NSAP), etc.

MLA Henglep AC, Letzamang Haokip; Thangboi Gangte ADC; Vanlalkungi, CMO; Sridhar, SDO Singhat;  Derek Khobung, SDO Sangaikot; Solomon L. Fimate SDO, Suangdoh; Alfred Khaute SDO Saikot; Abhijit, IFS, DFO; Lalboi Haokip MPS, SP Pherzawl; S. Khaikhopau Ngaihte SDO, Mualnuam and DLOs from the two ditricts attended the meeting.
