Minister Biswajit assured the assembly that there is no reason for further delays and that the government is making every effort to declare the results this year. However, MLA Ranjit expressed dissatisfaction with the response, highlighting his shock that the results have been pending for four years and demanded a specific timeline for the result declaration on the assembly floor.

In response, the Power Minister explained that the results were delayed for four years due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 State Assembly Elections, and ongoing violence in Manipur, which erupted on May 3 last year. He added that the correction of answer scripts has been completed and strict scrutiny is underway to ensure that candidates do not have any complaints.
