Ukhrul: A video file released by Tamu Indepth News has reported of a fierce battle that took place on Wednesday night. The footage, reportedly from sources linked to the Naga armed group, shows the involvement of the Naga, Meitei People’s Liberation Army (PLA), and the Shanni Nationalities Army (an insurgent group active in Northern Sagaing Region and Kachin State) forces joining hands in the conflict.

Ukhrul Times has not been able to verify the exact location of the shootout in Myanmar. However, sources indicate that the battle took place at Min Thar, a village located in Indo-Myanmar international border.
According to the video published by Tamu Indepth News in Burmese language, “Video File from last night’s fight. According to the video file, IM Naga, Meitei PLA, and SNA joined together to attack the People’s Defence Force (PDF) and the Kuki National Army – KNA(B) in the battle. The casualty list is not yet known, but it is known that about 10 members of the SNA were killed and some were injured,” reported the News outlet in Myanmar.

“In addition to the deceased, it is believed that several combatants from the opposing forces have sustained injuries, though specific details regarding the wounded remain unclear,” added Tamu Indepth News.
