Ukhrul, March 25, 2025: The Naga Baptist Leaders Meet, organized by the Fellowship of Naga Baptist Associations (FNBA), commenced on Tuesday at Union Baptist Church, Ukhrul Headquarters. The event is being hosted by the Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association (TBCA) under the theme “One Faith, One Lord, One Baptism.”
The much-anticipated gathering aims to foster unity and strengthen the bonds of fellowship among the Nagas.
Hundreds of Christian leaders from Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Myanmar, and Manipur have come together for this significant event.
The inaugural session set a reverent tone for the program. Miss Medowelou Wezah and Mr. Mashun Khangrah led the service, with Dr. Rampaukoping Michui, Executive Secretary of ZBCC, offering the invocation. Rev. Dr. H. Gideon, General Secretary of FNBA, provided an introduction, while Rev. Dr. Mathotmi Vasha, Executive Secretary of TBCA, delivered the welcome address.

The presidential address was given by Rev. Dr. Visor H. Zeliang, followed by greetings from Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener, General Secretary of NBCC. A special prayer for Naga leaders was offered by Mrs. Khontele Seb, President of DBWU.
The congregation was uplifted by soulful performances from the Local Choir and the NBCC Choir, along with a spectacular drama presented by Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo. An inspirational sermon, “One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism,” was delivered by Rev. Ramkhaning Tungshang, Pastor of Dwarka Community Church, Delhi.
The opening day’s proceedings concluded with a closing prayer by Rev. Alani Shongsir, Executive Secretary of MNBCA. The Naga Baptist Leaders Meet will conclude on March 27, 2025.
