Sources from the team stated that they would adhere to their earlier position in defence of the people’s rights. The Naga CSOs and United Naga Council have strongly opposed the scrapping of the Free Movement Regime and the construction of border fencing in Naga-inhabited areas.
The talks are scheduled to take place in New Delhi from 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26. The venue of the talks is yet to be confirmed, according to a source from the delegation.
