Naga Hoho appeals Naga political groups to stand by September Joint Accordant

Dimapur: The Naga Hoho said today that the political settlement can only come about only when the Nagas earnestly pursue together with mutual respect and understanding. Therefore, the Naga Hoho said that the need of the hour is for the Naga people is to “unify and consolidate” their position.

The Naga Hoho said this while issuing a press statement lauding the “September Joint Accordant” signed on September 14, 2022 between the NSCN-IM and the Working Committee of the NNPGs. The Naga Hoho further said that the efforts of the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) has brought about in signing the historic Accord.

The Naga Hoho said that the need of the hour for the Naga people is to unify and consolidate their position during this difficult times. “It is the cry of every Naga soul for unity and reconciliation in true spirit and therefore, the September Accordant has given another ray of hope and confidence to the people,” it added.

The Naga Hoho then earnestly appealed to all the “Naga political groups” to stand by its commitment in letter and spirit. “May the ‘September Joint Accordant’ bring about lasting peace and understanding amongst the Naga family,” it further added.
