Naga People’s Front releases candidates list

Dimapur: The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has released the names of 16 candidates today (the first phase of ticket declaration) for the coming Nagaland Legislative Assembly election to be held on February 27.

It can be noted here that the ruling Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and BJP had announced names of their official candidates on Wednesday for the February 27 assembly election of Nagaland.

The BJP has fielded 20 candidates and the NDPP 40 candidates. Nagaland has altogether 60 assembly constituencies.

The NDPP and the BJP are on the seat-sharing basis in the assembly election of Nagaland.
