Bengaluru: In a landmark event on April 27, the Naga Students’ Union Bangalore (NSUB) convened its inaugural consultative meeting, drawing together a diverse array of tribal student unions, community leaders, and church representatives. This historic gathering underscored the pressing need for enhanced outreach to the Nagas residing in the bustling metropolis of Bangalore, emphasizing closer collaborations with local churches and sub-units.

The meeting tackled a range of vital issues confronting the Naga community in Bangalore, including the imperative to address mental health concerns, offer guidance on legal matters pertaining to employment contracts, and promote cultural exchange initiatives with non-Naga communities.
Looking forward, NSUB has affirmed its commitment to spearheading a series of initiatives under the ‘Embrace Digital’ banner. These efforts aim to contribute to the city that Nagas have called home for over five decades through dedicated community service endeavors while prioritizing the welfare and diverse needs of the Naga community in Bangalore.
