In a historic moment for the Naga Students’ Union Punjab, Sarovino Zumvu was elected as the first woman president of the students’ body in Punjab. A total of 21 executive members were elected, NSUP informed.

Naga Students Union Phagwara, Punjab said that Sarovino Zumvu’s visionary leadership, coupled with her pursuit of a Doctorate in Political Science at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, showcases a unique blend of academic prowess and dedication to our community’s betterment.

NSUP also said that the newly elected executive body embodies a diverse and dynamic group of leaders who are committed to the welfare of our community.
“Each member of the executive body brings a wealth of skills and experience to their respective roles. Together, they share a collective vision to address the concerns and aspirations of Naga students in Phagwara, fostering unity and progress within our community,” added NSUP.
