Nagaland Govt Schedules High-Level Review on Naga Political Issue

Kohima, August 29: The Home Department, Political Branch, Government of Nagaland, has notified that a meeting of the Political Affairs Committee along with all the MLAs of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly is being convened on September 1, 2025 at 2 pm at State Banquet Hall, Chief Minister’s Residential Complex in Kohima to review and discuss all major issues relating to the Naga political issue, an official notification said today.

The Chief Minister, the Deputy Chief Ministers, the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker will be present in the meeting.

All the ministers, the Rajya Sabha MP and the Lok Sabha, Advisors and MLAs have been requested to kindly make it convenient to attend the meeting.

 Meanwhile, in view of the 7th Session of the Fourteenth Nagaland Legislative Assembly being summoned from September 2, 2025 onwards, Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, KG Kenye has called for a meeting of all the 60 legislators of the Fourteenth House of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly on September 1, 2025 (Monday) at 11 am in the State Banquet Hall, Kohima. Therefore, all the legislators have been requested to attend the meeting.

In another notification, Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, KG Kenye has called for a meeting of all the NDPP Legislature Party on September 1, 2025 (Monday) at 10 am in the State Banquet Hall, Kohima, for which all the members of the NDPP Legislature Party have been requested to attend the meeting.
