Nagaland prepares for polls; Nodal Officers meeting for different election cells held

Kohima: The Nagaland state administration is working full time preparing for the upcoming assembly election which is likely to be announced anytime soon.

As parts of the measures, a meeting of all the Nodal Officers of different Election Cells in connection with the ensuing Nagaland State Assembly Election, 2023 was held at the DC’s Conference Hall in Kohima today.

Roles and responsibilities of Nodal Officers of different Election Cells were discussed today in the meeting. The officers were asked to get mentally prepared and form their respective teams before the announcement of the election. 

The meeting also had a detailed discussion on the management of manpower, training, material and transports and other different election cells.
