Kohima, June 20: A five-member team from Nagaland was part of the ICC Indian Business Delegation to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from June 15 to 18, 2025. The Nagaland team was headed by the Director of Industries & Commerce, P. Tokugha Sema, accompanied by the Additional Director, Er Y. Lipongse Thongtsar, Deputy Director, Yawelie Noudi, and two representatives from the Business Association of Nagas (BAN) namely, T. Mongkhum Jamir, President and Benthungo Kithan, an official statement said today.
The Indian Business Delegation was led by the Director General of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Dr. Rajeev Singh Tyagi. The delegation comprised officials from the ICC, UP Government and businesses from different sectors such as Agriculture, Fertilisers & Bio resource, Food Processing, Dairy, Health, IT & ITeS etc.

The Business Meet was organised by the ICC with the support of the Indian Embassy in Cambodia, it also stated.
The B2B inaugural session was graced by His Excellency Dr. Sok Siphana, Senior Minister in the Royal Government of Cambodia. The Business Meet was attended by the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs’ Association (CWEA) Cambodia Oknha Association (COA), CEO Master Club, Cambodia Cashew Federation, and many other private companies apart from representatives from the Indian Business Chamber in Cambodia (IBCC) and INCHAM.
The initiative was to deepen economic ties and open new avenues for collaboration, create valuable networking platforms and long-term partnerships between the two countries for mutual growth and foster a win-win outcome for both nations, the statement also said.

In addition to B2B meetings, the delegation met with officials from various ministries in the kingdom of Cambodia including the Secretary of State, Ministry of Agriculture, Under Secretary of State in the Ministry of Commerce, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodian Investment Board and the Indian Ambassador to Cambodia, Vanlalvawna Bawitlung and other Embassy officials, the official statement.
