Ningon Chiphang signs for NEROCA FC

Former Yarkhok United FC defender Ningon Chiphang put pen to paper on a two year deal with North Eastern Re-Organising Cultural Association FC (NEROCA).

The center back plied his trades for Rising Athletic Union (RAU) from 2016-2018. He was the team captain of RAU from 2017-2018 and led the team to a Super Division title in 2017. Ningon then went on to play for the Manipur State team in the 2018 Santosh Trophy and also captained the state team in the 1st ever North East Olympic Games 2018. He last ran out for his hometown team Yarkhok United FC before making the switch to the I League side.

The robust defender is a technically gifted player with a strong aerial presence.
