NLSO Commends Minister Awangbow Newmai for Upgrading Northern Liangmai Roads, Urges Local Groups to Contribute

IMPHAL, SEP 3: The Northern Liangmai Students’ Organization (NLSO) extended its sincere appreciation to Awangbow Newmai, Minister, Water Resources department and Relief & Disaster Management, Government of Manipur, “for his sympathy” towards the people of Northern Liangmai areas in regard to enhancing the climate-resilient of roads in which with his concern made all season road by clearing landslides and maintaining the scouring and gulling surfaces of Tamei-Kuilong road with all kinds of possibility and the efforts regardless of any situations considering the lifeline and road consisting 22 villages. “We are thankful for your compassion towards serving people,” it added.

In addition to the road of the Northern Liangmai area, the student body appealed to all the village authorities and civil society arganization groups to take responsibility with the physical activities in order to provide all-weather road in all the minor road disintegration “in your own locality or up to your own territory and hence it is you, we and I to make more accessible living with less strenuous”.
