No withdrawal on Tuesday at Senapati; 12 candidates go to polls

Senapati: On the last date for withdrawal of candidatures, the 12 validly nominated candidates for 3 seats of 47-Karong (ST) assembly constituency, 48-Mao (ST) assembly constituency and 49-Tadubi (ST) assembly constituency would reportedly go to polls scheduled for March 5 next.

According to report received from district ROs, no one from the validly nominated candidates came for withdrawal of their candidature on the last date of withdrawal.

5 candidates including Khoho Siile Anthony of the NPF, D.D. Thaisii of the INC, R. Yuh Jonathan Tao of the BJP, J. Kumo Sha, Independent and Thaiba Sanii, Independent will vie for 47-Karong (ST) assembly constituency seat.

3 candidates including Losii Dikho of the NPF, Sanii Alexander Maikho of the BJP and Woba Joram, Independent will vie for 48-Mao (ST) assembly constituency seat.

4 candidates including M. Francis Ngajokpa of the NPF, N. Kayisii, O. Lohrii of the BJP and Robert T. Maram, Independent will vie for 49-Tadubi (ST) assembly constituency seat.
