The Naga People’s Front, Manipur state Unit office has issued an emergency meeting on September 6, in regard to the order of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Secretariat No. 5/11(s)/2021-LA(Secy) dated September 1, 2021.
NPF in a press release today called the induction of 9 unreserved Assembly Segments into the Hill Areas Committee in the aforementioned order arbitrary and unconstitutional.
It further resolved to oppose the order saying the 9 Assembly Segments inducted in HAC are from the Unscheduled Area.
