UKHRUL: The Naga People’s Network Forum (NPNF) and the Southern Nagalim (SN) Facebook group have offered solidarity and humanitarian aid to violence-affected Naga victims and villages, thanks to contributions from generous supporters. Additionally, the Yimkhiung Tribal Council has donated ₹1,00,000 to the Tangkhul Naga Long as a gesture of solidarity during the ongoing conflict.

The NPNF and the SN admins launched the Naga Goodwill & Solidarity Fund Drive as a collective effort to support Naga communities affected by violence and tragedy. During the drive, they raised a total of ₹87,969 from well-wishers across various regions. Following careful deliberation, they allocated ₹35,000 to Khonsaram village, and ₹13,000 each to Pongringlong, TM Kasom, and Dollang villages. Another ₹13,000 was set aside for the NPNF Initiative Fund to support future humanitarian assistance, emergency relief, community service, youth mobilization, educational outreach, and other welfare initiatives. Additionally, ₹969 was used by the volunteer in charge for necessary travel expenses.
The NPNF and SN expressed their heartfelt gratitude to every contributor, well-wisher, volunteer, and supporter who made this humanitarian effort possible. “Your generosity and trust have shown that Naga unity is demonstrated not only through words but also through meaningful action and practical service,” the groups stated, while also calling for unity, solidarity, and mutual responsibility among the Nagas.
In a similar spirit, the Yimkhiung Tribal Council contributed ₹1,00,000, raised from Yimkhiung villages, to the Tangkhul Naga Long, the apex civil body of the Tangkhul community. This contribution was made as a token of goodwill and support during difficult times.
The Yimkhiung Tribal Council expressed regret for their inability to visit in person due to severe and persistent bad weather conditions and urged the Tangkhul Naga Long not to interpret this absence as a lack of solidarity. They assured their prayers and spiritual support for the Tangkhul Naga community and emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong and unwavering bond of brotherhood between the two communities.
