NSCN/GPRN Claims Responsibility for Attack at Ranglom

UKHRUL: The NSCN/GPRN has claimed responsibility for the attack at Ranglom village in Changlang district, Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.

As per the statement issued by the NSCN/GPRN, the Naga Army tactical Unit carried out a massive attack on the 4th Assam Camp stationed at Ranglom village under Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh at around 8 am.

It stated that the extent of their casualties could not be ascertained as the Indian security forces locked down the area.

Stating that it regretted the harassment and torture meted out to the innocent public by the Indian security forces, as the result of the attack, the NSCN/GPRN maintained that it was a “necessary step” in defending their land from the ongoing oppression.

“We want to make it clear that the Naga Army remains steadfast in its sacred mission to defend the Naga Homeland from the imperialist designs of the Indian state,” it stated, adding that the operation will continue and the Naga Army is prepared to target the occasional forces and their secret agencies anytime and anywhere.
