NSCN-IM clarifies Oct 21 ‘stand-off incident’ with Assam Rifles

Dimapur: The NSCN-IM clarified Saturday that the “stand-off like incident” that took place on October 21, 2022 between Assam Rifles and Naga Army of NSCN-IM somewhere near Council Headquarters (CHQ), Hebron, has been resolved amicably at a higher level.

In a statement, the NSCN-IM stated that the related story that was carried by Dimapur based  daily Nagaland Page “is not based on factual account and has no official connection with NSCN’s version on the incident.” According to the NSCN-IM, there was no snatching of arms from the Assam Rifles as reported by Nagaland Page newspaper.
