NSCN-IM Issues Directive to Oil Stations in Nagalim for Basic Amenities

Published on

Dimapur, Jan 17: The NSCN-IM has issued a strong “directive” today to all oil pumps/fuel stations across ‘Nagalim’ or Naga areas to provide basic amenities.

“It has come to our notice that many of the oil pumps/fuel stations across Nagalim are not providing or maintaining the mandatory basic amenities like free air filling machine and washroom/toilets,” the NSCN-IM said. “It has also been observed that washrooms and toilets are left in unhygienic and untidy conditions which pose a serious health hazard”, it added.

This has called for NSCN-IM to issue this directive to all oil pumps/fuel stations to renovate/construct and maintain it to the level for public convenience at the earliest. “Failing to comply with this directive shall invite undesirable consequences,” the NSCN-IM cautioned.
